Together, We Brought MRI Services to Estevan

Together We Did

What once felt like an ambitious dream is now a reality.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, the MRI for Estevan campaign reached its $6.5 million fundraising goal in just a year and a half. More than 1,200 donors came together to help bring MRI services to St. Joseph’s Hospital and improve access to diagnostic care for patients across Estevan and Southeast Saskatchewan.

This achievement belongs to our entire community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Elaine Walkom, whose transformational $2 million gift helped launch the campaign and inspired others to believe that together, we could make this possible.

We also thank the rural municipalities, municipalities and community leaders throughout Southeast Saskatchewan who recognized the importance of this project and collectively contributed more than $1.5 million toward bringing MRI services closer to home.

To every individual, family, business, organization, service club, healthcare worker, volunteer and campaign supporter who donated, hosted an event, shared our message or encouraged others to get involved, thank you.

Every donation mattered. Every conversation helped. Every act of generosity brought us one step closer.
